Use ATMs at bank branches (Česká spořitelna, ČSOB, Komerční banka). Standalone machines in Old Town Prague are widely reported to combine steep DCC with withdrawal prompts in your home currency.
Cards are widely accepted in cities; small pubs and markets may be cash-only.
Never accept an ATM’s offer to withdraw a “suggested amount” in your home currency. That screen is the DCC funnel.
